Another week, another meal. Here are some of the things we ate this week:
A lot of stove top popcorn. We adore this recipe for Cheesy Herb Popcorn from Soulemama - I think we ate it almost everyday this week.
These Lazy Slow Cooker Cabbage Rolls from Simple Bites. We've been making and eating these through the winter for the past three years.
Grandma's Simple Chowder was on the table two days in a row and we literally licked our bowls clean. We also made this Cherry Chip Cake from Food 52 to celebrate what would have been Grandma's 97th birthday on Friday. It was lovely, especially paired with some Cherry Amaretto Ice Cream.
I snacked on Katie's "Cheesy" Kale Chips this week while I worked and they did not disappoint.
Soup and more soup, because January. And also because I have two really big bags of potatoes to use up. We ate Green Chile Chicken Stew on Monday and followed it up with Corn and Potato Chowder with Leeks on Tuesday.
If you know what Raclette Cheese is, like say, if you are Canadian, then I wrote a little article here with 5 Hacks for Preserving Leftover Raclette Cheese.
And if you read this blog with any regularity, it won't surprise you to know that there were muffins almost everyday this week too. Breakfast, snacks, lunch box, late night treat for mama. Mostly these muffins, but with all spelt and few chocolate chips thrown in for good measure.
To end the week on a good note, we're going to be enjoying a batch of Aimee's Honey Whole Wheat Chocolate Chunk Cookies. Ah, the weekend.
What did you eat this week?
